ZPPC pursues many initiatives for businesses and ports:

Related to promotion of businesses and ports

• · Distribution of our magazine Port News to domestic and foreign business contacts providing information on companies, new developments in the ports, information from the port authority.
• · Port Promotion Day, intended for the population in the immediate vicinity of the port and industrial sites. This is an opportunity to visit companies, to make a tour in the ports, both by land and sea, to attend   presentations  etc. Companies can also take part in the "Port Promotion Day" (next Port Promotion Day will be June 2nd 2012).
• · Image improvement: promoting the ports through publications, encouraging participation in port promotion days and promoting industrial tourism.
• · Participation in selected trade fairs both domestic and abroad in co-operation with members and the port authority.
• · Publications in press and media

Related to knowledge sharing and networking.

• · Port Meetings, these are held 4 a 5 times a year.
• · Corporate visits for members provide an opportunity to see 'how others do it'.
• · The annual golf outing offers members the opportunity for business to business contacts..
• · The annual end-of-year meeting in the Mariahoeve in Vlissingen-Oost, is the occasion of the year for administrative and commercial Zeeland to meet. It is held in co-operation with the port authority.
• · The ZPPC congress devotes attention to topics of strategic importance for the ports and businesses.
